The Chestnut Tree is an independent nature-based school in Catalonia, Spain, built around a socio-ecological approach to education. Founded in 2021, the school aims to reconnect learning with nature, community, and sustainability rather than treating education as something separate from everyday life. We are a learning community where children, families, and educators learn together in close relationship with the natural environment.
