TEN is a collective experiment and a planetary network of care and inquiry. It is a common-wealth of co-practice inspired by posthumanist thinkers, process philosophers, and animist trickster-instigators. The aim of ten is to disrupt and disturb modern notions of justice, power, and human agency through the practice of postactivism, a concept developed by ten’s founder Báyò Akómoláfé. While we do not seek to define or delimit this practice, we could say that postactivism—in its plurality of expressions—is an inquiry into how we nurture new responses out of intentional, playful practices that seek escape from the feedback loop of crisis. Postactivism gestures towards other forms of doings and ways of being to which we might bring our care and attention during uncertain times.
