Ecoversity Instituto Superior Intercultural Ayuuk (ISIA)

It is a project of the Centro de Estudios Ayuuk (CEA-UIIA A.C.) which began its academic operations in 2006 in the indigenous community of Jaltepec de Candayoc Mixe, Oaxaca. It is a private institution with public access as it seeks to subsidise the tuition scholarship of all its students who come from indigenous and non-indigenous peoples through various donations. Its teaching staff is made up of indigenous and non-indigenous professors and is part of the Jesuit University System (SUJ), thus achieving an integral and intercultural education.
