BALE (Building A Local Economy) is a community resource center for local economy initiatives in Vermont's White River Valley; they intentionally focus on several issues and are multi-dimensional in their programmatic work. At its core, their vision is to build a sustainable culture that can foster the economic and ecological capacity of communities to thrive, even as the external forces of climate disruption - driven by an economy and culture of systemic domination and scarcity - threaten our existence as a species.
