Ecoversity Aldea Feliz

Aldeafeliz was born in 2006 by an open call to all people who wanted to co-create an ecological community near Bogota. Through a participatory process, its name, principles, self-government agreements and territory were decided. In 2009 the non-profit association Aldeafeliz was created with the aim of giving the Ecovillage a purpose that will last over time and for several generations beyond the personal purposes of its founders. In 2013 the community adopts the sociocracy becoming the first self-governed community with this participatory methodology in Colombia.
